As far as investigators know, the mystery object did not show up on radar Monday. Investigators believe this object, whatever it is, could pose a serious safety hazard to planes. The pilot is heard telling air traffic control: “A remote controlled aircraft, or what? Something just went by the other way … About 20 to 30 seconds ago. It was like a large remote-controlled aircraft. The corporate jet, a Cessna Citation 525 CJ1, was flying at 8000 feet above sea level over Cherry Creek when the mystery object came close enough to make any pilot nervous. “That’s an issue because now we have something in controlled airspace that poses a danger,” Former NTSB Investigator and 9NEWS Aviation Analyst Greg Feith said. “Was this an unmanned vehicle that was part of some sort of law enforcement operation? Was this somebody that had flown a large model aircraft inadvertently into the airspace? Or was it just [a bird that] caught the pilot’s eye so he believed it was an aircraft but could have been a very large wing span bird,” Feith said. Russian space experts are seeking to solve the mystery of a “UFO fragment” which crashed close to a remote village in Siberia. The ‘fragment’ does not appear to come from any known missile or space technology. Russian space experts will make an announcement shortly. The ‘silver U-shaped device’ weighs 200 kilos, has does not appear to be a rocket or a missile – or a remnant of earthly space technology. The 200-kilo metal fragment was examined for radiation. A theory that it’s a remnant from a rocket launch in Kazakhstan also appears to be mistaken. ‘The object found is not related to space technology. A final conclusion can be made after a detailed study of the object by experts,’ said the Russian space agency Roscosmos. Locals insist the metallic object – resembling a large shiny rubbish bin – fell from the skies. The object is six feet long and is at least partially made of titanium steel. It’s now under police guard as interest in the ‘visitor’ intensifies. It was found near a village called Otradnensky some two thousand miles and three time zones east of Moscow. The Russian media immediately claimed ‘fragments of a UFO’ were discovered in the remote forest. Locals had heard strange sounds in the thick woodland in December, it was claimed.
